A few missions later, Price and his team go to the safehouse of Al-Asad to capture him. Price interrogates Al-Asad on who gave him the bomb that killed millions, but is given his phone by Gaz. After learning that Imran Zakhaev is still alive from the phone call, Al-Asad is executed. The captain then goes on to explain his past encounter with Zakhaev, and how he is connected to recent events. Price's team is then deployed to capture Zakhaev's son, Victor Zakhaev. But the mission fails when he commits suicide, and Imran then launches nuclear missiles as revenge. Price and the team then work on stopping the missiles and succeed in deactivating them before they could on western soil.
